Brennan has been working in mental health and addiction since 2015. As a person in active recovery, he knows the importance of authenticity and relationship building. His career has been dedicated to working with people with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring diagnoses. He has a special passion for accompanying people who meet criteria for stigmatized diagnoses such as personality disorders, bi-polar disorder, PTSD, and all addictive behaviors. Whatever you’re scared to tell other people, he will be honored to listen. Brennan is open to new clients of all ages, including couples and families.
He is trained in EMDR and DBT though he uses a variety of methods to accompany clients most effectively. He is licensed as a social worker (LCSW-PIP), addictions counselor (LAC), and a qualified mental health professional (QMHP). He completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sioux Falls, a Master of Social Work at the University of Illinois - Chicago, and a Doctor of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. He accepts most major insurances and sees clients on a sliding fee scale. He loves classic hip-hop (Wu Tang Forever), golf, weird trivia, dark humor, and hanging out with his wife, two kids, and his dog.
