Brennan Thompson

Brennan has been working in mental health and addiction since 2015. He is a person in active recovery and his career has been dedicated to working with people with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring diagnoses. He has a special passion for accompanying people who meet criteria for stigmatized diagnoses such as personality disorders, bi-polar disorder, PTSD, and all addictive behaviors. Whatever you’re scared to tell other people, he will be honored to listen.

• University of Sioux Falls - Bachelor of Arts in Social Work
• University of Illinois at Chicago - Master of Social Work  
• University of Kentucky - Doctor of Social Work

Experience: 

• Working in community mental health and addiction treatment 
• Working with people of all ages with anxiety, depression, severe mental illness, substance use disorder, co-occurring disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, developmental disorders, PTSD

• Licensed Certified Social Worker in Private or Independent Practice in South Dakota

• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
